We started with Amor and Eduardo at a restaurant having
dinner. The two accidentally touched hands when Amor went to get her cup of
coffee and Eduardo reached for his phone.
Amor pulled away quickly which made
Eduardo smile. Amor thanked Eduardo for going out to dinner with him and
apologized for any inconvenience she might have caused him. Eduardo told her it
was fine and excused himself to make a quick phone call. He called Mark to ask
about Diego and Mark told him that Diego’s phone was unreachable and that he
had not arrived for their appointment.
Claudia pondered over what Diego had told her; that Amor had
used Lourdes to take revenge on him and mulled over how Amor had been treating her
as well. She started to suspect that Amor had a plan set aside for them too so
when Eduardo got home, she told him about what Amor was doing with Diego and
asked him to be careful with her.
Angelo took Yna out and tried to cheer her up with a
milkshake but Yna still looked disturbed. She smiled a little from his antics
but she still did not tell him what she knew. Angelo then drove Yna home. Later
that night, Yna could not sleep as she thought about everything so she went
outside their cottage to get some air. Angelo went to Yna’s house and found her
outside. He was about to ask her what was wrong but Yna rushed into his arms
and just hugged him without saying a word.
Angelo talked to Miguel about Yna’s behavior and Miguel
asked him not to pressure her since she would tell him about what was bothering
her once she was ready.
Lourdes had planned to meet with Diego at the bus terminal after
his talk with Eduardo so that they could leave and start a new life together.
She got to the terminal and waited for Diego but the bus arrived and left since
Diego had not yet arrived.
Lourdes finally decided to go to Amor’s house and she got
slapped hard for betraying her. In the morning, Amor met with David and Lourdes
during breakfast and told them the story about how much she had suffered and
gotten abused by the American that she had married; James Powers. She said that
she had only managed to survive through the
5 year marriage because of her urge to take revenge on Diego and Eduardo
because all her misfortune had started with them.
Angelo was still bothered by Yna’s behavior so he called his
mother to ask her if she had scolded Yna at work because she seemed troubled.
Claudia told Angelo that she was trying her best to get along with Yna and
Angelo should not blame her for Yna’s mood swings.
Yna had a fever in the morning and was not able to go to
work so she called in sick. The chef tried to explain this to Claudia but
Claudia asked her if Yna was really sick or she was only trying to get a day
off. The chef called Yna and asked her to report for work even for a while because
the madam was not happy with her absence.
Yna got up from bed and got ready to leave, explaining to
her parents that she felt well enough to go to work for a little while after
taking her medicine.
Claudia continued to look into Amor and surmised that she
might have planted someone to spy on them. She told Eduardo to look into his
staff and figure out who among them was giving away information to Amor.
Amor feared that Diego’s interference might have ruined her
plans and alerted the Buenavistas so she asked David to resign from Eduardo’s
office and gave him tickets to return to America.
Yna went to Amor’s house instead and when she arrived there,
Angelo called her to ask her where she had gone after learning that she was
sick. Yna told him that she was feeling fine but Angelo insisted on picking her
up. Yna told him that she was at Amor’s house.
When the servant announced Yna’s arrival, Amor was talking
with David so David left through the back door.
The moment Yna saw Amor, she ran to hug her. Amor asked her
what was wrong and Yna fumbled for words to tell her what she knew. She
ultimately decided not to do it and told Amor that she was there to ask about
the job that Amor had offered to give her. Amor said that the offer was still
on and Yna asked her to ask for her anytime and she would avail herself after
her job at Buena Corp.
As Angelo arrived to pick up Yna, he saw David leaving Amor’s
house and wondered what he was doing there.
Angelo went in to greet Amor and told her that he was there
to pick up Yna. Amor told both of them that they were always welcome to visit
her house and we ended as Amor watched the two of them leave.
