Forevermore star Liza Soberano (Agnes) just landed the role of Darna! Darna is a fictional iconic Philippine heroine created by writer Mars Ravelo through his comics. The character has been reenacted into movies and Fantaseryes much like most of Mars Ravelo's works. ABSCBN announced that they were going to make a Darna movie and the clamour for which actress would get to play her started.

Doble Kara  is truly one epic show and we can all agree with this sentiment even if the show as only been on air for a few weeks. It is an amazing story and this is partly because of the stellar cast supporting Julia Montes in telling the story of twins Sara and Kara. Beautiful Strangers ended a week ago and this is my special review for the show.
Overall, it was a very entertaining show and for the most part, we enjoyed it. I do not have much to critic because the show was well written and well executed through out and for this reason, I will restrict my review to the last episode of the show. Doble Kara is well in its first week on KTNKenya and the show being about twins,  an issue of whether both characters are played by the same person is coming up. The answer is yes. Both Sara and Kara are played by the same person, Kapamilya actress Julia Montes.

Christopher De Leon's daughter wins Miss International-PH!

A few weeks ago, we shared on our "Did you know" Friday posts that Beautiful Strangers star Christopher De Leon (Ronaldo Castillo) has eight children. Four of them are adopted while he has a son with first wife Nora Aunor and three with second and current wife, actress Sandy Andolong. On Sunday evening, one of his daughters, Mariel De Leon won the Miss International-Philippines.
